UK corporate veterinary groups
Six corporate groups own roughly 60% of UK small-animal practices. The Competition and Markets Authority's 2026 Order is legally binding for these six by 23 September 2026. Smaller practices have an additional three months.
Below is a neutral, fact-based page on each — what they own, what the CMA found, what changes for owners, and how to check whether your practice is owned by the group. We're documenting the reforms, not bashing corporate vets.
